Michaud HeadshotGreg Michaud instructs a number of our year-round Abundant Backyard Workshop series including Biointensive Gardening, and Backyard Chickens.  Greg is a long-time holistic gardener turned sustainable ecofarmer/health-foodie with training in organic certification inspection.  He & his wife Patty run “The Old Feed Store” on a small acreage in Laporte, Colorado where they are working to rediscover the lost skills of local food self-sufficiency.

Melanie Warner – Author & Reporter – Sunday, 2pm

Melanie Warner is a freelance journalist who writes about the food industry. Her book on processed food, Pandora’s Lunchbox: How Processed Food Took Over the American Meal, was published by Scribner in February 2013. She has worked as a reporter for the New York Times, a senior writer at Fortune magazine, and a blogger for CBSNews.com. Melanie lives in Boulder, Colorado with her husband and their two boys.
