Yoga at the Fair
Old Town Yoga will be offering a full weekend of yoga with all of your favorite Old Town Yoga teachers who will be teaching special classes in their areas of expertise. For the $10 Fair admission, you will receive the experience of an entire weekend of quality yoga instruction with some of the best teachers around!

Saturday Schedule:
9 am- 10 am- Invigorating Vinyasa Yoga w/Andrea
Vinyasa is an athletic form of yoga where participants are led through a sequence of yoga postures is a flowing fashion. Prepare to be challenged, to have fun and to relax deeply at the end!
10:15 am- 11:15 am- Stretch it & relax it! w/Dana
Come experience some blissful stretching of many of the common areas of tightness in the human body and at the end you’ll be able to relax like never before! These stretches are so good that you’ll want to do them everyday!
11:10 am- 12:30 pm- UP Your Energy! w/Marianne
Come experience some unique movements and breathing practices to charge your energy, awaken your chakras and get your blood moving!
12:45 pm- 2:45 pm- Why We Do Yoga w/Michael
In this lecture/discussion, we’ll explore the “traditional” reasons why we practice the elements of yoga, and why they continue to work so powerfully together, even in today’s world…. This will be a blend of lecture & open discussion, so be sure to bring your questions!
3 pm- 4 pm- Yoga Therapy: Upper Back, Neck & Shoulders w/Barb
We all experience joint pain at some point in our lives. This is a great class for anyone currently experiencing mild to moderate pain in these areas as well as those who wish to take preventative action!
4:15 pm- 6:15 pm- The 7 Chakra Wakeup! w/Melanie
Come learn about the 7 Energy Centers of the body and explore them through movement, music, awareness and integration through deep relaxation. You will leave feeling energized, and ready to manifest your desires!

9 am- 10 am- Fluid Power Flow Yoga
Step into this dynamic and challenging vinyasa yoga practice and tap into your inner power through mindful movement, postures and deep breathing!
10:15 am- 11:15 am Yoga: Get Strong & Long! w/Melanie
It’s said that muscles stretch more effectively after a period of activity. In this class we’ll focus on engaging key muscles and then blissfully stretching them to allow for deeper release.
11:30 am- 12:30 pm- Partner Massage Techniques for Everyone! w/Dana
Come learn beautifully simple and amazingly effective massage techniques that you can share with friends and family anytime, anywhere! No partner needed.
12:45 pm – 2:45 pm- The Yoga of Sustainability w/Michael
Yoga teaches us that, in order to change the world, we must first begin with ourselves. In this lecture, we’ll discuss how the current state of the world can be seen as a reflection of our own inner reality & how a mindful yoga practice can be instrumental to not only coming to terms with the present, but also creating a new path towards a healthier & happier future.
3 pm-4 pm- Yoga Therapy: Low Back, Sacrum & Hips w/Barb

4:15pm – 6:15 pm- Forward & Backward Bends for Spinal Bliss! w/Andrea
Backbends are strengthening, forward bends are releasing and a yoga practice combining both can be liberating and exhilarating! You’re only as old as your spine so come take years off with this important class!
